One thing I will always give credit for with all the Slipshine works (at least from the last time I subbing to them) is that there's always a specific niche for each and all of the different MLW-WLW-MLM fans. Within the MLW demographics, I can confidently say this sits comfortably in the nook of "straight"-focused sex with an ongoing plot that always freshens up the character interactions, but isn't too committed to the point where missing one will damn you.
