Idk where you thought this but Laios (The main character) and Marcille (The elf girl) are never romantically involved. They are party who both decided to enter the dungeon to look for Falin (Laios’ sister) after she got eaten by a dragon and was unable to be revived (You need to bring back someones body to the surface to revive them).
Laios and Marcille never have any romantic interest in eachother at any part of the story.
