Installation Guide
1. Launch the game, configure the settings as shown in the image below, and then exit the game:
ATTENTION: You must disable the "Show at Startup" pop-up window for mods in the game settings!
"Graphics" Section:
Edge Smoothing: Off
3D Scene Resolution: High
Uncompressed Sim Textures: Checked (Enabled)
Post-Processing Effects: Unchecked (Disabled)
Laptop Mode: Unchecked (Disabled)
"Game Camera" Tab (Game Options > Game Camera):
The Sims 3 Camera: Checked (Enabled)
"Other" Tab (Game Options > Other):
Enable Custom Content and Mods: Checked (Enabled)
Script Mods Allowed: Checked (Enabled)
Show at Startup: Unchecked (Disabled)
2. Run ReShade_Setup_6.7.3_Addon.exe from the Extras folder
• Click "Browse" and select TS4_x64.exe located in The Sims 4\Game\Bin - In the next step, choose DirectX 10/11/12
• Uncheck all effect packages and click "Next"
• Without selecting anything else, click "Next" again to finish
• Once done, extract NextGen Shaders.zip from the Extras folder into The Sims 4\Game\Bin, replacing any existing files when prompted
3. Extract all archives from the Mods folder into Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods
Move the Slot_00000006.save file to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves
Extract the contents of Tray.zip into Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\
4. Launch the game.
Since the modpack includes a massive amount of custom content, the initial loading will take some time. Please be patient, especially if the game is installed on a traditional Hard Drive (HDD) rather than a fast SSD/NVMe drive.
Once the game loads, press the HOME key to open the ReShade overlay, and load the Xen v3.ini preset from The sims 4\Game\Bin\reshade-shaders\Presets.
5. Enjoy the game!
Note on Language: You can change the game's language by editing the anadius.cfg file in The Sims 4\Game\Bin or by running language-changer.exe in the main directory. Please note that some mods in this pack do not have localizations and will remain in English regardless of your game language settings.
